Why Sub 3

Welcome to chasing sub 3, a sanctuary for the extraordinary journey of a resilient mother runner committed to transcending the shadows of childhood trauma and generational cycles. As an average mom striving to redefine my limits, this blog chronicles my pursuit of training for and running a sub three-hour marathon (6:52 minute per mile pace) while dismantling old patterns of thought that have held me captive for too long. More than just a physical endeavor, this space is intended to be a testament to the unraveling emotional and psychological barriers, showcasing the transformative power of resilience.

Join me as I challenge my outdated ways of thinking, inspire fellow mothers to embrace their strength, and relentlessly pave a path towards breaking free from generational curses. Together, this is where we redefine boundaries, overcome adversity, and prove that breaking the mold is not only a personal triumph but a beacon of light and strength for others navigating their own journeys.

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”

Genesis 50:20 NIV
